Hatteras is a business events subscription engine which makes up one component of the Fogcutter Suite. It works with Quoddy to provide the ability for users to create subscriptions to business events on the organization's ESB infrastructure. It connects to Quoddy, downloads all defined subscriptions, then listens for matching messages. Messages which match a subscription are persisted to an XML database, and Hatteras then sends a notification to Quoddy which creates a subscription item record which can be rendered in the user's stream. Quoddy and Hatteras thereby provide seamless access to important business events, alongside other import pieces of content the user has selected.
DRM-SEQ is a basic drum machine and sampler. It allows realtime pattern creation with customizable samples and tracks. It has an adjustable BPM, swing factor, time signature, and eight banks for patterns, with intuitive key bindings and save/load capabilities for a live environment.
LibMCore is a library that provides some functions to create asynchronous or synchronous lightweight process and generic queue processing. Some other basic functions are also available to count core number, to enable the real-time scheduler, to set core affinity, or to manipulate cycle counters.
Libfbm is a C++ library for fast and accurate bulk-simulation of multi-dimensional (1D, 2D, 3D, .., 8D) Gaussian stationary processes, fractional Brownian motion, and fields with power-law power spectrum. It makes use of the circulant matrix embedding and FFT. Random number generation is provided by SFMT (SIMD-optimized Mersenne Twister) with a ziggurat based algorithm for normal distribution. For FFT functions, it depends on the FFTW library.
