apt-imagen is a script used to install .deb packages on a machine (host1) with a slow or no Internet connection, through a second machine, using an image of the state of the packages system on host1. apt-image works on Debian GNU/Linux or any other distributions that have the installation tool apt-get, i.e. based on the package management system APT.
Login controller is a PHP class that can be used to manage registration and authentication of site users. It requires PHP 5 and MySQL. It can redirect the users to pages that present forms to let the users register and log into a site. It can also process the the forms and execute several types of actions that manage user records stored in a MySQL database. For instance, it can create new user records, validate user registration and login forms, reset user passwords, and change the user password.
S-Jog is a program that uses the Sony Vaio laptops Jog Wheel to launch user applications, adjust the screen brightness, volume, and also to scroll pages up and down (like a mousewheel). S-Jog pops up when you move the Jog Wheel, then disappears after 3 seconds of inactivity so that it doesn't waste desktop space.
XkbInd (X Keyboard Extension Indicator) is a small, simple, but useful indicator of keyboard layout (XKB group) for the X Window System. It indicates the current keyboard layout in the title of top-level windows via a prefix to the original string. XkbInd allows the user to simulate independent keyboard layout for each handled window, and it works with most window managers, including twm, mwm, and fvwm.
