Sing Along Disc Player is an enhanced CD player for Linux. It features a control panel, a spectrum analyser, an oscillator, a mixer, an active icon that can be docked with Window Maker, and a dual-window mode (both windows at same time), and has basic support for CD multichanger, CD-TEXT, and CD-EXTRA extensions. It keeps a local database and can access remote CD databases to retrieve or submit your disc information. It allows you to pick your choice of compression type, multiple preference sets (play lists and skip lists), ability to store volumes for a particular CD, and read-only access to old sadp, Workman, and xmcd-style data bases.
Sitegrab is a URL grabber that parses IRC logs for data and then inserts it into a database that can be searched through a web interface using a combination of announcer name, date, partial url, and type of url. Also supported is an administration mode whereby urls can be edited and deleted through the web interface.
Sizzle is a Scheme interpreter for embedding into C applications and for standalone scripting. It implements a nearly complete subset of R5RS Scheme, adding a lot of primitives for U*ix scripting, regular expression searching, a simple module system, dynamic library linking, powerful string processing procedures, and much more. It includes a user's guide and an embedding manual in texinfo format, some examples, the embedding library, and a standalone interpreter for interactive use and scripting.

It is in service at a number of sites, managing networks of 50 to 200+ UNIX nodes, under Linux, Solaris, Digital UNIX, and HP-UX.

Users can be in any number of domains on any number of servers. Web-based administration with different admins for different domains. Features include an online calendar, notes, users' personal Web pages, a news client, and is MIME aware.
sii_printpbm allows you to print PBM files to the Seiko Instruments thermal label printer (SII SLP1100) from a UNIX box. This printer is also sold as the EZ30 Smart Label Printer. You can use ghostscript to render a postscript file to a PBM file and send it to the sii_printpbm installed as a print filter to lpd. This was first seen in action at the Atlanta Linux Showcase in 1998. The program is to be used in conjunction with a print filter that converts an image into a PBM file before sending it to the printer.
