asmutils is a set of miscellaneous utilities written in assembly language, targeted on embedded systems and small distributions (e.g. installation or rescue disks). It also contains a small libc and a crypto library. It is optimized for size, memory usage, and speed, and offers fairly good functionality. The project supports Linux and the BSD family. Unixware, Solaris, and AtheOS support is in beta stage. This package also aims to provide a portable development framework, and to encourage assembly programmers to write for Linux/Unix.

ISDK is now in a development stage and it is available only for the Linux operating system. Worker is a file manager for the X Window System with the classical two panel interface. It features a fully graphical configuration, while still allowing manual editing of the configuration file without the need to restart Worker. Any external program can be integrated easily into the GUI using buttons, hotkeys, and file type actions. Worker uses file recognition by file content or by filename extension (or both). Different actions with completely configurable commands can be assigned to each file type.

KEGS is an actively-developed Apple IIgs emulator, originally written for HP workstations, improved and customized for Linux. It runs under X at any display depth, and supports changable memory sizes, joysticks, and sound. KEGS boots all Apple II OS variants, and supports all of the graphics modes of the Apple IIgs. It requires a copy of the Apple II system ROMs. Kegs has been adapted to work under Mac OS X, Windows, and the SDL library.

Viewmol is a program for building and editing molecules as well as for the visualization of outputs from quantum chemical and molecular mechanics programs. Currently supported are Gaussian 9x, Gamess, Discover, DMol/DSolid/DMol3, Gulp, Mopac, Turbomole, and PDB files. Properties visualized include geometry (with various drawing modes), vibration (animated or with arrows), optimization history/MD trajectories, MO energy level diagram, MOs, basis functions, and electron density. Drawings can be saved as TIFF, HPGL, Postscript, and input files for Rayshade. Viewmol has an embedded Python interpreter for automation. The program is language independent and currently "speaks" English, French, German, Russian, or Spanish.
