CoolPackager is a program for developers which will allow users of your software to easily install your program. A CoolPackage is a self-extracting, and self-installing shell script. Creating a CoolPackage with CoolPackager only requires a .tar.gz and a simple installation script.
OpenLoad is a tool for load-testing Web applications. It aims to be easy to use and providing near real-time performance measurements of the application under test. This is particulary useful when you are doing optimization as you can see the impact of your changes almost immediately.
Bluel VMail is a semi-complete voicemail system that supports automated attendant, call transfer, e-mail delivery of voicemail messages, etc. It was designed to work with the Diamond SupraExpress ISA modem and Panasonic KX-T61610 hybrid phone switch (cheap!), but is probably portable to similar configurations.
Cplant (tm) is a collection of code designed with an emphasis on scalability, to provide a full-featured environment for cluster computing on commodity hardware components. Cplant (tm) system software provides a scalable message passing layer, scalable runtime utilities, and scalable debugging support. It is distributed as source code, which can be built for a specific hardware configuration. This consists of operating system code (in the form of Linux modules and driver), application support libraries and compiler tools, an MPI port, user-level runtime utilities, support for application debugging, and scripts for configuring and installing the built software.
Xbase (formerly known as xdb) is an XBase compatible C++ class library. It provides C and C++ programmers with a cross-platform class and function library for manipulating Xbase type datafiles and indexes. There is support for .DBF and .NDX files (including support for Dbase III and IV memo fields, dates, and record and file locking), and limited support is also supplied for .NTX (clipper index) files. There is also an HTML user interface class which works well with the Apache Web Server.
ToutDoux is a project manager for GNOME. The approach of data manipulation is abstract (database free). It's extensible with plugins. Most tasks are and will be subcontracted with commandline frontends. The file format is XML (including a schema, plugins parameters, and datatables).
UserIPacct introduces a new policy mechanism that provides per-user IP statistics (measuring the user's IP usage). This package adds per user IP accounting to the Linux kernel, and contains programs to control and use this accounting data. Patches are available for the 2.0.39, 2.2.19, and 2.4.5 kernels.
