Gnome Flow is a program written to calculate and visualize simple steady-state fluid flows. It uses the relaxation method, and can calculate flows past symmetric objects. Steady-state means that it calculates the flow at a given time, and that the physical parameters are constant in time.
Cumulus is a software synthesizer which implements the Asynchronous Grain Synthesis. This synthesis allows you to create very original sounds to be used in your music (mainly percussive and ambient background sounds). It features a convenient QT-based GUI where each paramter can be controlled by an envelope, the ability for all parameters to be controlled with hardware controllers (MIDI-controllerbox), an interface to use a MIDI-keyboard (polyphony adjustable, default 8 voices), internal 32-bit accuracy, an internal sampling rate that can be any multiple of the external one, and full realtime capability with parameter changes audible within around 50ms, depending on system latency.
oDns is a simple php/Perl/MySQL frontend to the BIND 8.2.1 Name Server. All the hosts information is saved in four SQL tables. The php-based Web frontend allows you to add/edit/remove domains (primary and slaves) and contact information. In the background, Perl is used to generate standard named.conf and specific zone files for all the primary domains.
siconv (StreamICONV) filters its stdin to stdout while converting from one character set to another. It does this via the iconv(3) function provided by glibc (but not well documented under Linux). All you need to do is cat your data through it and redirect stdout to your desired file or program. The iconv command line function that comes with glibc appears to read everything into a single buffer before converting. If you need to translate 1GB of data, that obviously wouldn't work; thus, this program.

The Jogdial Patch integrates the jogdial package for Sony Vaio Notebooks with the Imwheel package. This patch makes it possible to use the jogdial (a kind of mouse wheel which is built into certain Vaio notebooks) in all X applications to scroll up and down or to deliver arbitrary keystrokes to X applications. The patch works well with the picturebook Sony Vaio PCG-C1XD and might work with other notebooks with a jogdial.
