Firebolt is a network protocol oriented library. It's not another socket library; it offers higher level services to the developer. You can structure your protocol in the form of states and the transitions between those states with the use of your custom events. Thus you no longer need to worry about what data you just received from a socket and whether or not those data are expected in the current state of your network code, since that sort of validation is all performed by Firebolt.
The dkLab Apache is a patched Apache distribution for those who plan to use the Apache Web server to serve multiple separate sites working under different, fully separated, and independent Unix users. It does not require you to install any OS kernel modules or disable setuid, and works correctly and intelligently with KeepAlive turned on and MaxRequestsPerChild greater than 1.
libvcvideo is targeted as a super-simple cross platform video device library. It's starting with the most basic features and building up, all while keeping a simple API and strong documentation for beginners. Currently only select devices are supported, but as more hardware becomes available that will change. Right now it only has limited compatibility with Linux Webcam devices that use the original V4L specifications and output RGB24 data. This is actually a very large set of devices, as that is the generic description for most spca5xx and gspca devices. Though incomplete, if you have the right device it is very simple. Counting variable declaration, you only need four lines of library code to get a frame from a camera.
YouTube Clone Script is a video sharing script that helps you create your own video sharing Web site like YouTube. It uses the Sothink server-side FLV encoder application. It supports video uploading, video encoding, video sharing, and video and user management on the server side. It utilizes server resources efficiently.
Micro fitter searches the best approximation to a set of data points using simple equations (rects and quadratics), and computes the maximum absolute and relative errors for the adjusted interval, the whole data set, or a specified range. It can generate the assembly code to implement it (currently only for Microchip's PIC family of microcontrollers).
