Enhanced cd (ecd) combines the functinionality of several builtin shell commands for changing the current directory. It has all the features of cd, pushd, and popd, while adding some additional features. It can automatically execute certain scripts when entering or leaving a directory, and it maintains a menu-driven history list to assist in changing to prior directories. Since it is implemented as a shell function, it resides in the shell's memory and executes with no visible delay. And since functions do not fork a subprocess, all executed commands are able to affect the current shell.
Lisp Blosxom is a port of the Perl Blosxom blogging engine to ANSI Common Lisp. Its goals are extensibility and speed. It's a filesystem-based blogging engine, which means that blog entries are just flat files on disk, although plugins can be written to extend or replace this behavior. The first line in the file is the title, while the remainder is the text of the body. Entry dates are taken directly from the filesystem's modification date for each entry. Furthermore, the structure of the blog is taken directly from the hierarchy of directories and files on disk.

Firebolt is a network protocol oriented library. It's not another socket library; it offers higher level services to the developer. You can structure your protocol in the form of states and the transitions between those states with the use of your custom events. Thus you no longer need to worry about what data you just received from a socket and whether or not those data are expected in the current state of your network code, since that sort of validation is all performed by Firebolt.
