Replicator is a set of scripts to automate the duplication of a Debian GNU/Linux installation from one computer to another. Replicator makes an effort to take into account differences in hardware (like HD size, video card) and in software configuration (such as partitioning). After the initial configuration, the scripts will create a bootdisk that allows you to completely (re)install a Debian box by booting from the floppy and answering a yes/no question. It works with Debian 2.1 (stable) and frozen (potato).
Syslinux is a collection of boot loaders for Linux and other operating systems which operates on Linux ext2/ext3 filesystems, MS-DOS FAT filesystems, network servers using PXE firmware, or from CD-ROMs. Syslinux has an advanced extension API and contains two optional menu systems. It also includes MEMDISK, a tool for booting legacy operating systems from non-traditional media like PXE or CD-ROM.
xplain2sql converts files from Xplain to SQL. It supports a very large subset of Xplain, and it can convert from Xplain to Microsoft SQL Server, DB/2, Inprise InterBase, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL 5, SQLite 3 or ANSI-92 SQL. It can also generate an XML description of the generated SQL. This XML description can be used to create low-level middle-tier code. Example stylesheets for Eiffel/ECLI and Delphi/ADO are included. The C source code release should compile on any platform with an ANSI C compiler. There are binary releases for FreeBSD, Linux, Solaris x86, and Windows 2000.
Cactus is a general, modular, parallel environment for solving systems of partial differential equations. The code has been developed over many years by a large international collaboration of numerical relativity and computational science research groups and can be used to provide a portable platform for solving any system of partial differential equations.
Tunez is an MP3/Ogg jukebox that works with a voting system. You can vote for your favorite tracks via the Web interface, and the Tunez daemon will take care of the rest. It is ideal for shared work environments and LAN parties. Tunez also works equally well as an interface to an Icecast server (v2.0 is supported via Ices v0.3). Tunez makes it easy to update ID3 tags for all your MP3s. Support for grabbing Amazon art in included for all of your favorite albums. A full user/group permission scheme is available so that you can customize Tunez for your own use.
KFLog (The K Flight Logger) is an aircraft pilot program for KDE. It is used to display, analyze, and evaluate flights logged with a GPS flight recorder (IGC file-format). The user can view the flight track and the task both in 2D and 3D. The user can also optimize the task to get a task which provides a maximum number of points for the logged track. Animation of the track and planning a new task are also possible. KFLog supports a highly configurable vector map, based on DCW-data, as well as digital terrain data, based on GTOPO30. The currently available maps cover all of Europe. The airspace structure available for KFLog covers the whole world, and is updated about every month.
