Lightweight Underlay Network Ad-hoc Routing (LUNAR) is a simple and robust self-configuring wireless ad-hoc routing system that creates an IP subnet illusion. It is developed as a kernel module that can be dynamically loaded in a running system. It works well in the most common ad-hoc networking situations, namely small groups of less than 10 mobile nodes that are close together. It implements a bare-bones on-demand route discovery protocol with broadcast dampening and reconfigures communications paths typically within three seconds. IP addresses are self-configured and MANET name resolution is supported. Automatic IP gatewaying is included and IP unicast and broadcast are supported.
httcld provides a very small HTTP server with an embedded Tcl interpreter. In addition to static HTML and image files, it serves .htcl files, which are HTML with embedded tcl code. The Tcl is executed on the server, and the resulting output is embedded in the stream sent back to the client. In addition, variables in the Tcl namespace may be set and retrieved directly, say by an AJAX script.
PostgreSQL is a powerful, open source object-relational database system that's been under active development for over 15 years. This JumpBox includes PostgreSQL 8 along with PHPPgAdmin set up and ready to run. The PostgreSQL server is network-accessible and provides a great storage engine for a broad array of applications.
The Montage FR-1 slide printer driver allows you to use a Lasergraphics Montage FR-1 slide printer attached to your Linux box via the generic SCSI interface. The core program takes a PPM file as input and causes the printer to expose a slide with that image. Additional scripts are provided to embed the core program into the BSD printing system. This allows you to expose any PostScript file, and to actually print to your slide printer.
