WebWasher consists of the three modules that filter content, protect privacy, and control access. WebWasher's standard filters prevent unwanted data objects on Web pages from being loaded, prevent information on users from being forwarded to third parties without the users' knowledge, and allow the user a controlled access to the Internet (wanted information gets through; unwanted Web pages or data are blocked).

wepidia is a set of two PHP files which allow you to browse through an entire picture collection, located in the same directory or in the subdirectories as the two files. It also offers the ability to add comments to the pics, for which it uses a MYSQL database. The files are highly configurable, and very easy adjustable. Other features include a location bar, customizable colors, and relocation of the layout.

Werc is a minimalistic RESTful Web application framework and content management system. It follows the Unix "tool philosophy" and it is designed to be fast, simple, convenient, and easily extensible. It handles both small and big sites and has a flexible system for user and group permissions. All data is stored in plain text files that can be easily manipulated with standard tools, without using any databases or other external dependencies. Existing applications include a blogging engine with RSS/Atom feeds, a wiki system that can easily integrate pre-existing documents (can be enabled for any directory tree), and others.

wfrog is a Web-based weather station software with nice charts and many ways to publish them on the Web. The architecture is meant to make it very easy to add support for other weather station models and to allow for rendering the weather data in several formats and media using an extensible renderer structure. wget_img.pl is a Perl script that examines HTML files on the local filesystem, finds all the image tags, and outputs wget commands that would download those images. wget_img.pl is more reliable than wget in finding all the images, and it can force wget to disguise itself to prevent Web servers from denying the automatic download.

Whatsup is a cluster node up/down detection utility. It can quickly calculate and output the up and down nodes of a cluster through one of several possible backend tools and several optional cluster node databases. The currently supported backend tools are Ganglia, Cerebro, and Pingd (which can be downloaded as a subpackage of Whatsup). The curently supported cluster databases are genders, gendersllnl (a locally supported LLNL version of genders), and hostsfile (a textfile list of host names). C and Perl libraries for detecting up/down nodes are also included in the package.
