ARP Neighbor Cache Fingerprinter is a tool that provides a mechanism for remote operating system detection by extrapolating characteristics of the target system's underlying neighbor cache and general ARP behavior. Given the non-existence of any standard specification for how the neighbor cache should behave, several differences in network stack implementations can be used for unique identification. The main disadvantage of this tool versus traditional fingerprinting is that because it's based on a Layer 2 protocol instead of a Layer 3 protocol, the target machine that is being tested must reside on the same Ethernet broadcast domain (usually the same physical network).
HOMER is a robust, carrier-grade, scalable SIP capturing system and monitoring application with hEP, IP Proto4 (IPIP) encapsulation, and port mirroring/monitoring support right out of the box, ready to process and store large amounts of signaling with instant searches, end-to-end analysis, and drill-down capabilities for ITSPs, VoIP providers, and trunk suppliers using SIP signaling.
Nibble Forms 2 is a PHP form class which allows developers to quickly create HTML5 forms and validate submitted results. An evolution of the original Nibble Forms class, it follows some of the key principles of Nibble Forms: It's simple to instantiate, it uses simple form field calls, it's flexible, and it provides validation out of the box.
LifeV is a finite element (FE) library providing implementations of state of the art mathematical and numerical methods. It serves both as a research and production library. It has already been used in medical and industrial contexts to simulate fluid structure interaction and mass transport. LifeV is the joint collaboration between four institutions: École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (CMCS) in Switzerland, Politecnico di Milano (MOX) in Italy, INRIA (REO, ESTIME) in France, and Emory University (Sc. Comp) in the U.S.A.
Collax Groupware Suite is a complete collaboration, e-mail, and messaging server with Outlook MAPI support. It offers enterprise email server functions, anti-spam and anti-virus filters, GUI management, a file server for SMB, NFS, FTP, and Apple shares, backup/restore server, IM server, and fax and SMS server. The groupware offers AJAX Web mail, calendar, team calendar, contacts, and tasks, and supports ActiveSync for mobile devices. It is free for private or commercial use of up to five users.
Changing directories in bash can be tedious if you have long names or nested paths. Creating aliases or adding to the CDPATH can help, but can be improved on. Bashcd adds 6 new commands to make changing directories a bit easier. This commands use find, the locate database, the mdfind database, or other contextual information to make it easier to change to other directories.
OnPosix is a tiny library to abstract POSIX mechanisms to C++ developers. Most features offered by this library can be found either inside the Boost library or in a library compliant with the C++11 standard. Unfortunately, however, for some embedded Linux devices, these libraries cannot represent viable solutions, due to the lack of memory space (for the Boost libraries) and the lack of a new C++ compiler (e.g., on Xilinx MicroBlaze). On these platforms, the OnPosix library represents a good and cheap solution to have object-oriented POSIX mechanisms. The library offers support for threads, mutual exclusion, sockets, logging, timing, etc.
