free-EOS (Espace Ouvert de Services) is a French project to provide a fair, quick, and simple open intranet/extranet solution to non-technician users. It is implemented with a Linux-based server and workstations that run either Windows, Linux, or Mac OS. It targets environments that are managed by organizers that do not have significant technical competency. It's an adaptation of the SME Server solution that is specifically dedicated to French-speaking environments.
YAWn! Linux is a client for the YAWn! service, which keeps track of the names used by players of "Return to Castle Wolfenstein". Players are tracked by their unique PunkBuster GUID, and thus players cannot hide behind a fake name to play recklessly or purposely misbehave. YAWn! adds a console command to "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" that lists all players like PunkBuster does. However, this command also displays the other names that the player has used before, or (for players that use YAWn! themselves) the name and taunt-message that the player chose at registration.
Tabatha is a GTK2 popup menu for tablet PCs, handhelds, and other frequently changed desktops. It can be called with a single keypress, and allows system configurations (power, X display, networking, etc.) to be changed with a single button push. New buttons are easily configured through a simple XML file, with no programming necessary.
