FOSS Factory Source is the source code for the FOSS Factory website, an ingenious new funding system for free/open source software development. Unlike other FOSS bounty systems, FOSS Factory protects the interests of both developers and sponsors, simultaneously guaranteeing results and ensuring that developers are paid for their work. Its unique community-driven contractless approach avoids typical project management problems.
impr is a small and fast image processing library with a simple API. Its functions work mostly on 8-bit image channels, which means that main type is just (u8 *) or (b8 *) for grey and binary images respectively. It was intended for use in real-time processing, so functions are optimized for speed. It supports segmentation (4 and 8-connected), flood fill, filling object holes, downscaling and upscaling (with linear interpolation) by an integer factor, generic implementations of dilate and erode (+image open and close), color space conversions between HSVRGB and YRGRGB, convolutions with Roberts and 2x2 low-pass filters, and common binary image operations.
CTL is a cross-platform control dispatching tool that makes it easy to automate any kind of distributed systems management or application provisioning task. Rather than writing complex and error-prone scripts that over utilize "for loops", CTL handles the network dispatching for you and allows you to focus on the actual management tasks you need to accomplish. In addition to being a dispatching tool, CTL comes with pre-built cross-platform utilities so you don't have to script actions like file distribution or process and port checking. You can also write your own custom utilities and share them with others in your organization. Custom utilities are defined in XML, and your scripting can be done in multiple scripting languages (Perl, Python, etc.), *nix shell, Windows batch, and/or Ant.
The XE Toolkit is a multi-platform, network-aware, secure performance monitoring solution for tactical analysis of enterprise computing systems. It uses Java and provides an API in the form of Java jar files that contain the programmatic interfaces needed to craft custom tools. It remains a toolkit, perhaps more complex than the SE Toolkit, but also far more versatile.
Sfinx is a personal knowledge and data manager. It can manage your private data like contacts, events, notes, files, tasks, know-how, etc. Each data item is wired by abstract "slices", which are organized as a category hierarchy that you can build and define for your own needs. The user interface application Faraon is provided to communicate with the Sfinx server.
SSID-based SMTP server changer for Evolution is a simple script that uses gconf and NetworkManager (via D-Bus) to check which wireless network (SSID) you are currently connected to, and updates Evolution's accounts list (in gconf) to point to the correct SMTP server for that network. It is useful for when roaming between wireless networks that are connected to different ISPs.
