Zowie.Fractals is a plugin for the popular Eclipse IDE that lets the user explore the set of complex numbers in the Mandelbrot set. When rendered visually, these can be quite distracting, and even pretty. It features intuitive mouse usage, the ability to load and save your work as PNG files, the ability to change the number of iterations, and full editor history integration.
libcsv_parser++ is a C++ library for parsing text files to extract records and fields. The records can be delimited with any set of characters. It makes the following assumptions: the record terminator is only one character in length; the field terminator is only one character in length; and the fields are enclosed by single characters, if any. The parser can handle documents where fields are always enclosed, not enclosed at all, or optionally enclosed. When fields are strictly all enclosed, there is an assumption that any enclosure characters within the field are escaped by placing a backslash in front of the enclosure character. The software could be ported to Windows with very little effort.
i-net Doqua is an Eclipse plug-in that helps documentation writers and developers to keep track of inconsistencies between style guides and the actual documentation. The system integrates into the Eclipse IDE and introduces a new perspective and several views. Since i-net Doqua uses standard JUnit testcases to check the documentation, you can trigger checks using Hudson or similar Ant based systems.
k10ctl is a P-State utility for AMD family 10h (aka K10) processors. It can modify the P-States, i.e. alter processor and the northbridge frequencies and voltages, set or change the P-State, and read out frequency and voltage information. The main purpose of k10ctl is overclocking or "undervolting" the CPU and to configure Cool'n'Quiet settings.
c2ctl is a frequency and voltage modification utility mainly intended for Intel Core 2 and Core CPUs. It should also work for other CPUs (namely processors with SpeedStep). The utility can also enable SpeedStep (e.g. if it was disabled by the BIOS due to overclocking) and read out frequency and voltage information. The main purpose of c2ctl is overclocking or "undervolting" and to enable SpeedStep.
