web-cp is a Web hosting control panel. It consists of 4 control panels: personal, domain, reseller, and server. It allows domain owners to add new users and aliases, and allows users to update their personal information. Resellers can control their domain accounts and the server administrator controls all functionality. Scripting, shell access, SSI, etc. is all controlled from a top-down approach. web-cp is designed for Unix-like systems and is not distribution specific. It currently supports Red Hat, Fedora, Debian, FreeBSD, Slackware and likely others.
webCDwriter can be used to make the CD- and DVD-writer(s) connected to a Linux box available to all users in your network. It consists of the server CDWserver and the clients webCDcreator and rcdrecord. CDWserver stores the files transmitted by the clients, reserves the CD-writer and controls the CD-writer using cdrecord. webCDcreator is a Java applet that runs within your browser or by Java Web Start, assists you when putting together a CD, and transmits the files. Finally rcdrecord is a command line client that tries to offer the functionality of cdrecord over the network with full multi-user support.
webFonts4Linux is a shell scripts that automates the process of downloading and installing Microsoft's Web Core Fonts, a collection of high-quality True Type fonts designed for use with low resolutions. webFonts2Linux exists because although these Microsoft distributes these fonts for free, strong redistribution restrictions makes it impossible to distribute a tarball or package containing them.
webcam_server is a server that can be used to host a video4Linux supported Webcam. It features caption text, image rotation and flipping, HTTP support, and logging. It allows a client to connect with the included Java applet and watch a real time video feed. The applet allows for frames/sec control. In addition, the browser can be pointed directly at the webcam_server listen port to grab the current frame as a JPEG.
