pygps is a GPS user interface. It shows a listing of satellites, their locations in the sky, a list of latitude, longitude, altitude, status, etc., and moving maps. It was designed to work on the Compaq (now HP) iPAQ PDA running Linux, with a 240x320 screen. However, it uses glade, so that it also works nicely on larger screens, or on a landscape orientation of 320x240. It works with any GPS receiver supported by gpsd (which see).
ModiWrap is a scriptable, configurable, paranoid setuid wrapper for CGI and other Web scripts (such as PHP). It aims at full compliance with the CGI specifications. It allows users to run their own CGI/webscripts with their own UID while minimizing the risk of compromising the host system. All resource limits and running time alarms can be configured on the fly on a per-user basis with an optional limits daemon. It can be made fully compatible with suexec, cgiwrap, and mod_php. It should be compatible with any Web server.
The Alamin GSM SMS Gateway is a group of daemons that allows you to send/receive SMS messages from any GSM device that supports AT+ commands (GSM modems or GSM mobile phones) or supported by Gnokii. A client program allows you to send messages from any IP client. An SMTP interface is provided to allow MTAs to send SMS directly to the GSM network. IMP (Incoming Message Processor) modules allows you to extend functionality to implement banking, network administration, bd querys, etc. from a GSM mobile phone.
qmailWebmin is a Webmin module for administrating a qmail mailserver. Its main feature is the easy virtual accounting with separated POP3 passwords. Based on work found on qmail.org, it aims to be as standard as possible with a default qmail installation. This Webmin module is aimed at lazy administrators and persons with little knowledge about general UNIX administration.
The Peer-to-Peer Trusted Library (PtPTL) is a software security toolkit tailored for the creation of peer-to-peer applications. It allows for the establishment of trust between individual peer-to-peer clients and the organization of secure groups of trusted peers. Ultimately, the PtPTL allows users to share information and collaborate securely across the Internet.
