dmap2gcode is a depth map image cutting program. A depth map is a greyscale image in which the darkness or lightness of each pixel corresponds to the depth (or height) of the object at each point. dmap2gcode supports various cutter geometries (flat, ball nose, and v-bit), two types of cut entry (straight and arc), a full set of roughing options, and various other settings, all controlled through a graphical user interface. The g-code output from dmap2gcode is compatible with LinuxCNC and Mach3.

owl2vcs is a set of tools designed to facilitate version control of OWL 2 ontologies using version control systems. It contains a commandline diff tool for OWL 2 ontologies integrated with Git and Mercurial. copymon provides file copying processes with a progress bar. Neither cp nor rsync provide means to monitor the copying process, nor a progress bar. copymon is a wrapper which performs a scan of the directory to be copied and collects information about the files to be copied. After that, it spawns the actual copying program (which can be cp, rsync, or tar) and monitors its progress. copymon can be easily enhanced to support more programs and can be extended to provided different types of progress bars.
