saop adds authentication to any SMTP server by using a POP3 or IMAP4 server as the authentication backend. To do so, it sits in the middle of an SMTP session and intercepts login attempts. It then captures the user and password and authenticates against a POP3 server, an IMAP4 server, or a password list.
Sar2html is a Web-based front end for performance monitoring. It converts sar binary data to graphical format. Both the command line and Web interface provide the same functionality. HPUX 11.11, 11.23, and 11.31, Redhat 3, 4, 5, and 6, Suse 8, 9, 10, and 11, and Solaris 5.9, 5.10. 5.11 are supported for performance monitoring. The reporting tool runs on Linux only. If you have customers facing performance problems on the operating systems listed above, you may send sar2ascii to collect performance data. Then you may plot performance graphics and generate performance reports in PDF format through sar2html. If you are a systems administrator, you may monitor your systems by accessing them through sar2html. Automatically collecting performance data in a predefined time window will be implemented soon.
sash-plus-patches is a collection of patches for the well known standalone shell, sash. The key features are the chroot, pivot_root, and losetup functions. These functions provide interfaces to the respective Linux system calls. They are especially useful when sash is used in a initial ramdisk ("initrd") environment. In addition, simple shell variable expansion support has been added.
sauditor is a sample auditor that is intended to be simple and quick to use. It allows you to quickly and easily search for the sample you want. It features a curses interface, with no mousing required, and a toggleable X spectrum analyzer. The spectrum analyzer lets you see the frequencies present in your samples, which is handy if you want an idea of how much "space" the samples take up in the mix. It uses Jack for output, which allows you to connect filters to the output.
sawfish.wm.ext.pager is a C/Lisp extension that provides a functional desktop pager for the sawfish window manager. A pager is a map of your desktop. It shows not only the visible part of your desktop (the current viewport), but also the parts that extend beyond the sides of your screen. Also, if you have more than one workspace, the pager will follow you to where you are, or optionally show all workspaces at once. Of course you can select viewports and windows, and also move or raise/lower the latter.
