PyMuTester is tool to facilitate Mutant Testing (a.k.a Mutant Analysis or Program Mutation) on software systems written in Python. Its main purpose is to assist you in improving your existing unit tests to cover missing checks and “loopholes” in your testing. It works by making small changes (technically known as mutants) to your Python application’s source code and re-running your unit tests over these mutated applications' source code. Since the mutants usually go against the specifications, your unit tests should fail in such tests. If the unit tests still pass, then that is an indication that your unit tests might have missed some checks.
tcpdump prints a description of the contents of packets on a network interface which match a given boolean expression. It can also be run with the -w flag, which causes it to save the packet data to a file for later analysis, and/or with the -r flag, which causes it to read from a saved packet file rather than to read packets from a network interface. In all cases, only packets which match the expression will be processed by tcpdump. tcpdump logs more than just TCP, IP, or ethernet packets, but has a whole suite of decoders, including ones for USB.
astroPluto is modular Godunov-type code intended mainly for astrophysical applications and high Mach number flows in multiple spatial dimensions. The code embeds different hydrodynamic modules and multiple algorithms to solve the equations describing Newtonian, relativistic, MHD, or relativistic MHD fluids in Cartesian or curvilinear coordinates.
PirateWall is a simple Twitter Client. It displays search results for a certain keyword or hashtag in realtime in a shell-based environment. It can also be configured to act as a data provider for many different visualization tools. For example, it is possible to use the client as a text generator for many XScreensaver applications like "apple2" or "starwars". When used in a Unix shell environment, colorized output can be generated.
Python System Monitor (Psymon) is a cross-platform task and performance monitor. It features global process monitoring, system load history (CPU, memory, network, and disks), disk information, network connections, detailed information and CPU, and memory percentage history per process.
D:GameVFS is a minimalist virtual filesystem library for the D programming language oriented at game developers. It provides an easy-to-use API for filesystem-independent file/directory manipulation. It supports basic VFS functionality. Files and directories can be created, read, and written, but not deleted. There are no security features (e.g., D:GameVFS can't handle a situation in which a file it's working with is deleted outside the program).
