Cactus is a general, modular, parallel environment for solving systems of partial differential equations. The code has been developed over many years by a large international collaboration of numerical relativity and computational science research groups and can be used to provide a portable platform for solving any system of partial differential equations.
Cadaver is a simulated world of cyborgs and nature in realtime. The battlefield consists of forests, grain, water, grass, carcass (of course) and lots of other things. The game server manages the game and the rules. You start a server and connect some clients. The clients communicate with the server using a very primitive protocol. They can order cyborgs to harvest grain, attack enemies or cut forest. The game is not intended to be played by humans! Instead the idea is that you write artificial intelligence clients to beat the other artificial intelligences.
Calc is arbitrary precision arithmetic system that uses a C-like language. It's useful as a calculator, an algorithm prototype, and as a mathematical research tool. More importantly, calc provides a machine-independent means of computation. Calc comes with a rich set of builtin mathematical and programmatic functions.
Calendars for the Web provides a server based calendar and scheduling application. It allows unlimited users to share unlimted events per calendar. Calendars for the Web comes with a full-featured browser based interface, is completely customizable (sixteen different calendar view types), fully documented, and supports online administration.
camE is a Webcam grabber designed for video4linux devices. It is based on the xawtv webcam app, but extended to use imlib2 for applying antialised, blended truetype fonts to the image before upload. A large number of new options have been added including scp support (in addition to ftp), image archiving, and much more. It runs as a daemon and needs no X connection to operate.
capircvd is a voice/fax gateway. It receives fax (G3) and voice-calls using an ISDN-Bus, an AVM ISDN-Card (active or passive) and CAPI20 from isdn4linux, or AVM. It can be used on either P2P (with DDI) or P2M S0-bus. After reception, it can process files (send as mail) using an external handler (included).
