SteGUI is a graphical front-end to Steghide that lets users view the images (in Bitmap and JPEG format) and play the sounds (in Wave and AU format) that Steghide allows as cover files. SteGUI also contains a simple text editor to manage text payload files (although any kind of file can be a payload to hide). The idea is to allow users to manage the supported file types and use Steghide from a single graphical tool.
VitalFile for Real-Time Workstation Protection provides transparent real-time file-level protection. Whenever a "user-created" file is changed, up to three copies are made. One is stored elsewhere on the system, allowing for many versions to be retained. Another can be queued and sent to a file server (when online), and another can be sent into a Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) back-up server.
databinding4swt is analogous to the Swing Data Binding shipped in Rational Application Developer (RAD), Version 6. It has been extended to include data bindings for Standard Widget Toolkit (SWT) components so users can effortlessly access data from various data sources (enterprise Java beans (EJB), Web services, Java beans, or JDBC SDO).
The goal of XPS is to make programming simpler by raising the level of abstraction without loss of performance. It provides true support for meta-programming and domain specific languages, making it possible to design simple programming languages to match the problem at hand. This is the opposite of current practice which seeks to translate the problem domain down into the low level solution domain of current programming languages.
RPSL (Rapid Prototyping Shared Library) is a set of bash scripts and utility files that coordinate the GNU autotools and pkg-config for C/C++ build automation. The scripts and procedures define a system for building and linking that supports an individual or small group. A single command (rpslSyncBuild) scans for source, writes a Makefile.am and Configure.ac, and produces a conventional autotools tree ready for the usual "configure, make, make install" build steps.
Security Lifecycle Management Tools exploits the plug-in interfaces in the Eclipse framework to provide integration with Tivoli Access Manager functionality such as API documentation, code snippets, and substantial examples. Additional documents that capture the best practices and procedures for common tasks in the security lifecycle are included.
Patel is a small, primitive synthesizer project, designed for making "chiptune" style sounds, and targeted especially at old, low-power, or embedded hardware. Currently it is in the form of a simple prototype program, in the course of developing a synthesizer library. Although it is already largely functional, little work has been carried out on making it usable, and various features are still missing or uncertain.
