kchuid is an experimental Linux kernel module that allows you to change the UID/GID/CAPS of a running process (by PID). Think of it as providing a setuid() system call that also has a pid_t argument. It's the first step in a full authentication system, and further, a full Unixish system devoid of setuid binaries/scripts.
phpClassAds is a PHP3 application that allows you to easily include a classified ad section into your Web site. Its features include posting, edit/delete ads, and admin tools. Each ad's entry is protected by a password supplied by the ad's owner. For administration it provides a category manager which allows you to create/edit/del categories easily. The Administrator can bypass password to edit and delete ad entries.
The goal of the XMLtype project is to create a console-based editor of XML document-oriented files in UTF-8 encoding. It is designed from the beginning for multilingual use, even for writing bi-directional texts (e.g. mixed English and Hebrew). The design focuses on comfortable and fast typing of well-formed XML documents. Thus XMLtype is not meant to compete with advanced console editors like Emacs or VIM. For full functionality, XMLtype requires UTF-8 console support. It is being developed under Linux and for the ANSI/VT-100 terminal.
popwatcher is a daemon that maintains a list of hosts that are authorized to use your mailserver as an SMTP relay based on those hosts successfully authenticating to your POP mail server. The default configuration is designed to work with qpopper and exim, but can be used with other mailers and POP servers.

Once a user successfully authenticates against a POP server, relaying is allowed through the server for a specified time period. It supports Ipop3d, Qpopper, and Vpopd with Sendmail or Exim.
