Nutex is a secure and modular PHP framework that uses XML-RPC and HTTPS for remote calls. It uses the Smarty Template Engine to implement the administration section, and has its own Apache, PHP, and mod_ssl packages to increase security. It can be used to implement a system to manage many servers or to get information from those servers.
WMpop is a Window Maker dock app that monitors a local (mbox format) or POP3/APOP mailbox to inform you when mail arrives. It displays the amount of mail in the mailbox (or unread mail if checked in the preference screen), a scrolling text with the email address of the senders (only for local mailbox at the moment) and a status led, indicating mail checking progression and errors. It can be configured and personalized (icons and sound) via a GTK+ GUI.
GnuPoc enables the development EPOC applications using alternative operating systems like Linux and other Unices. The following SDKs have been ported to GnuPoc: ER5 (Psion Series5, Psion netbook, etc.), Quartz 6.0, Crystal 6.0 (Nokia 9210, 9290), and Nokia Series 60 (Nokia 7650, etc.).
The modular syslog allows for an easy implementation of input and output modules. The modules that mantain compatibility with its precursor are included in the standard distribution along with four modules: om_peo (an implementation of PEO-1 and L-PEO, two algorithmic protocols for integrity checking), om_mysql and om_pgsql (modules that sends output to a mysql and postgresql database, respectively) and om_regex (a module that allows output redirection using regular expressions).
