P4 is a self-organizing, peer-to-peer overlay network similar to Gnutella and Freenet. It differs in that it provides an API for developing applications on top of the network and handles the networking and export functionality for unicast, multicast, user and plugin discovery, and strong encryption and authentication. This frees developers from worrying about networking and allows them to focus on building real functionality.
libdbgstream provides debug stream output which is tunable from the command line on a per lib/class/function basis. The stream object can provide ENTRY and EXIT messages via ctor/dtor, which is useful for instrumenting functions. Additionally, it is possible to define your own "channel" streams via simple typedef. The stream output can be fully optimized away for production code.
