The Philips LightFrame2 is a technology for TV-quality video and photo display on a computer monitor. LightFrame(tm) is a combination of hardware and software for Windows. xLightFrame brings almost the same functionality to X. You can highlight the whole screen, or any part of it. This program is useful only on Phlips LightFrame-capable monitors, like the model 109S. It is an independent program that has no relation to or links with Philips. You can use it from the command line, or with help from the companion script lfw.sh.
The Linux ABI is a patch to the Linux kernel that allows a linux system to run foreign binaries. It was developed as a follow-on to the iBCS/iBCS2 project for the older 2.2 kernel. It supports binaries from SCO OpenServer, SCO OpenDesktop, SCO Unix 3.x, SCO Xenix 386, SCO Xenix 286 (with userspace x286 emulation), SCO UnixWare 7, Caldera OpenUnix 8, SUN Solaris 2, System V Release 3 (SVR3), System V Release 4 (SVR4), Wyse V/386, and ISC Interactive Unix. Only the Intel i386 platform is currently supported
JDIC (JDesktop Integration Components) makse it possible for Java applications to integrate more seamlessly with the native desktop environment. It supports features such as embedding the native HTML browser, programmatically opening the native mail tool, using registered file-type viewers, and packaging JNLP applications as RPM, SVR4, and MSI installer packages. An SDK for developing platform-independent screensavers is also included.
The libsrtp library is an open-source implementation of the Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP) from Cisco Systems, Inc. SRTP is a security profile for RTP that adds confidentiality, message authentication, and replay protection to that protocol. It is specified in RFC 3711.
KFile-Cert is a kfile-plugin for KDE. It offers detailed information on X.509 certificate files, which often have extensions .cer, .crt, or .pem. The information is displayed in the file properties dialog box, Konqueror pop-up file tips, and in Konqueror info list view. The information includes certificate subject, issuer, validity term, and status.
