TeachToPod is a set of shell scripts for ripping DVDs from The Teaching Company to produce either video files (m4v) or audio files (mp3) for playback on an iPod. Metadata such as lecture titles are automatically scraped from the Web and added to the output files. Operation of the scripts is almost automatic, and from the operator's viewpoint requires merely physical insertion and removal of the DVDs. Presently, the scripts are optimized for iPod Classic and have only been tested on Ubuntu 10.10.
Phreebird is a DNSSEC proxy that operates in front of an existing DNS server (such as BIND, Unbound, PowerDNS, Microsoft DNS, or QIP) and supplements its records with DNSSEC responses. Features of Phreebird include automatic key generation, realtime record signing, support for arbitrary responses, zero configuration, NSEC3 "White Lies", caching and rate limiting to deter DoS attacks, and experimental support for both Coarse Time over DNS and HTTP Virtual Channels. The suite also contains a large amount of sample code, including support for federated identity over OpenSSH. Finally, "Phreeload" enhances existing OpenSSL applications with DNSSEC support.

The Dmapd project provides a GObject-based implementation of DMAP sharing. Dmapd features support for both DAAP (iTunes) and DPAP (iPhoto), support for realtime transcoding of media formats not natively supported by clients, and support for many metadata formats, such as those associated with Ogg Vorbis and MP3 (e.g., ID3). It has been used on OpenWrt Linux-based systems with as little as 32MB of memory to serve music, video, and photograph libraries containing thousands of files.
XmlPlus xsd2cpp is a tool that compiles an XML schema into C++ data bindings. When invoked on an input XSD file, it generates the C++ sources (implementation/headers) for the supplied XML schema, a main.cpp template to demonstrate how generated sources can be consumed, and the automake/autoconf files for building the generated source.
GA4PHP is a class for PHP that allows a coder to provide a method for allowing two-factor authentication for users. Primarily focused on the Google authenticator for iOS, Blackberry, and Android, the system can also support hardware and software tokens based on the TOTP and HOTP standards. The system is designed such that a programmer would simply extend the PHP class to provide storage for the token data.
