Micro fitter searches the best approximation to a set of data points using simple equations (rects and quadratics), and computes the maximum absolute and relative errors for the adjusted interval, the whole data set, or a specified range. It can generate the assembly code to implement it (currently only for Microchip's PIC family of microcontrollers).
Scribbler is a quick, easy, minimalistic diary script written in Python. When called without arguments, it allows you to edit today's diary entry. When the -b option is used, it allows you to browse old diary entries. Scribbler uses vim and lynx by default, but you can easily change these settings to your favorite editor/browser.
vfp (video for Pascal) is a Freepascal interface to video4linux. This package contains the unit videodev.pas (similar to videodev.h) and an object-oriented version which supplies the different functionalities via plugins. vfp also supports special video cameras modified for long time integration. vfp is a subpackage of the SImg software.
