libGMUVision is framework for realtime computer vision applications that is designed to allow easier access to Firewire IIDC digital video cameras. It provides a set of C++ bindings for libdc1394 and Qt widgets for building graphical applications that process video streams in real time. A small sample application (Koriander Lite, based on the Coriander project) is included.
libGlass is a scalable set of components that can be used by applications to perform distributed computing. Applications are built by reusing the available components as needed. One of the major goals of Glass is to be a user-friendly framework, not only suitable for new applications, but also for legacy code. This is an important feature, as most available solutions for distributed computing require a substantial amount of rewrite of legacy code.
libKISSlog is a trivial lightweight C++ template library designed and written according to the KISS (Keep It Simple and Straightforward) principle. It leans heavily on STL for keeping its implementation as simple as its usage, and tries to provide C++ developers with a lightweight, paradigm-pure, and flexible alternative to logging libraries which use design and/or implementation decisions which at least the author of libKISSlog believes to be questionable. Its easiest to explain why libKISSlog would be suitable for your needs by listing the things which libKISSlog does not choose to use or do: no singletons or other forms of mutable global state, no macros, no attempt to fit the Java runtime everything model onto a C++ library, no attempt to be a Java-style (bloated) framework, no attempt to make the choice for you of whether you need thread safety, and no compromise on simplicity in order to facilitate questionable inner-loop logging practices.
L3D is a 3D library for developing OpenGL applications under Linux. The library has a main display loop, and call-back functions similar to those in GLUT. It has a graphical console for output of information. The goal of this project is a library which is small and hopefully scalable.
libLunchbox facilitates the development and deployment of multi-threaded applications. It provides OS Abstraction, using utility classes abstracting common operating system features (such as threads, locks, memory maps, shared library loading, and condition variables), high-performance primitives (including thread-safe utilities tuned for performance, such as atomic variables, spin locks, and lock-free containers), and utility classes (including helper primitives which are not in the standard library, such as logging, pools, and random number generation).
libNUI is a hardware accelerated GUI framework that makes it possible to build rich multi-platform applications based on 3D rendered dynamic layouts. Interfaces are built as a composition of widgets and behaviors, and the framework handles positioning, resizing, anchoring, and texture stretching. Objects are connected with synchronous events and delegates for mono-threaded communication, or asynchronous notifications and message queues are used for multi-threaded applications. It also supports strings (including Unicode), paths, files, data streams, fonts, threads, critical sections, audio buffer rendering, and more.
