Uldramar is a fantasy RPG and adventure game. You can cast spells like the mushroom morph spell and pick up objects for later use. The story is about a plane called Uldramar where there is a quest or two waiting for you. The game was influenced by the Ultima series and the Legend of Zelda.
Xpostulate is a blog/microblogging client that posts to Livejournal, InsaneJournal, IziBlog.net, DeadJournal, Scribbld, Inksome, Wordpress, and DreamWidth. It can tweet to twitter.com and dent to identi.ca so that you can announce new articles. This is all done via one interface, saving your login information for each, and thus simplifying cross-posting to your various social networking sites.
Foresight Linux is a desktop operating system featuring an intuitive user interface and a showcase of the latest desktop software, giving users convenient and enjoyable access to their music, photos, videos, documents, and Internet resources. As a Linux distribution, Foresight sets itself apart by eliminating the need for the user to be familiar with Linux, combining a user-focused desktop environment on top of Conary. As the most technically innovative software management system available today, Conary ensures that users can efficiently search, install, and manage all the software on the Foresight system, including bringing in the latest features and fixes without waiting for a major release.
ClusterShell is a set of tools and an event-based Python library to execute commands on local or remote cluster nodes in parallel. The framework also provides advanced methods for handling node sets and node groups to ease and improve administration of large compute clusters or server farms. Three convenient command line utilities, clush, clubak, and nodeset, allow traditional shell scripts to benefit some useful features offered by the library.
The stx::CBTreeDB is a collection of C++ classes with which read-only key-value database files can be created and read. A database efficiently maps a large number of integral fixed-length keys to opaque binary value blobs. Variable-length or duplicate keys are currently not supported. Keys are organized into a highly compact index structure, which is very similar to a B-tree and allows very fast key lookups. Both keys and values are stored in order and thus queries in a local proximity can benefit from caching effects. All applications mapping a large number of constant, integral keys to string or data blobs can benefit from this library.
iMorph is cross platform 3D image analysis software. It permits the morphological characterization of porous media, and more precisely cellular materials. The first step of the analysis is a macroscopical characterization of the different phases. It allows porosity, tortuosity, and specific surface measurement. The anisotropy is also quantified at the sample scale. In a second step, the software gives a morphological study at the pore scale. Automatic methods for cell extraction give access to shape analysis, classification, and orientation. Moreover, it permits a local voxel classification in order to identify local shape such as shell, plates, and rods. Finally, the software gives a topological description by generating the graphs of both the solid and fluid phase. The human interface is intuitive and can be used by a non-expert of image processing. 3D visualization uses OpenGL libraries and allows interaction with segmented objects. An XML samples database is used to store results belonging to a region of interest in the media.
py-setproctitle is a library that allows a Python process to change its title, as displayed by system tools such as ps and top. Changing the title is useful in multi-process systems, for example when a master process is forked: changing the child's title allows you to identify the task each process is busy with. It is based on PostgreSQL's multi-platform implementation.
