mairix is a tool for indexing and searching email messages stored in Maildir, MH, or mbox folders. The index contains a map of which words occur in which parts of which messages. Searches on this index are fast and generate symlinks to the matching messages in a new Maildir or MH folder, or copies of matching messages in an mbox folder, which can be browsed normally in a mail client.
RVM is an archive manager that uses rsync to manage backups of multiple clients across multiple logical partitions (vaults). It has some features that some other rsync-based backup schemes lack, such as being written in C++, needing no scripts or other programs than rsync and any binaries on which rsync depends (such as SSH), the ability to manage multiple instances of rsync connections to separate clients in parallel, the ability to use multiple logical partitions (vaults) in a configurable fashion for purporses of redundancy and added reliability, and the use of hard links for files that have not changed from one archive to the next.
Scintilla is a free source code editing component for Win32 and GTK+. As well as features found in standard text editing components, Scintilla includes features especially useful when editing and debugging source code. These include support for syntax styling, error indicators, code completion and call tips. Styling choices are more open than with many editors, allowing the use of proportional fonts, bold and italics, multiple foreground and background colours and multiple fonts.
The DAVfs Linux file system driver (a.k.a davfs2) is a Linux file system driver that allows you to mount a WebDAV server as a disk drive. WebDAV is an extension to HTTP/1.1 that allows remote collaborative authoring of Web resources, defined in RFC 2518. DAVfs allows a remote Web server to be edited using standard applications that interact with the file system. For example, a remote Web site could be updated in-place, using the same development tools that initially created the site. DAVfs also supports SSL.
udhcp Server/Client is an embedded DHCP client and server that can be compiled seperately (19k and 17k respectively), or as one combined binary (29k). The server stores its lease file periodically, or by a signal (for systems with flash memory) in terms of absolute time of lease expiration, or time remaining in a lease (for systems with no clocks). The client calls helper scripts to do the work of configuring the interfaces for more flexibility. udhcp has been included in BusyBox and is no longer maintained as a separate project.
Netwib provides most functions needed by network programs. Its objective is to let programmers easily create network programs. This library provides features for Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6, UDP, TCP, ICMP, ARP, and RARP protocols. It supports spoofing, sniffing, client, and server creation. Furthermore, netwib contains high level functions dealing with data handling.
Easy Firewall Generator is a PHP Web application that generates an iptables firewall script. The generated script is designed for a single system connected to the Internet or a system acting as a gateway/firewall for a small private network. The generator prompts recursively for a variety of options. When the selected options form a complete set, it generates and returns a commented firewall script based on those options. The generator includes documentation on iptables and each option.
