lsb-fhs tests the Filesystem Hierarchy aspects of the Linux Standard Base. The V1.0 and V2.1-X tests correspond to FHS2.0 and FHS2.1, respectively, and are now obsolete. The V2.2-X tests correspond to the FHS2.2 specification. The 2.2 tests are the current tests used for LSB 1.3 certification. The V2.3-X tests correspond to the FHS 2.3 specification and will replace the V2.2 tests for LSB 2.x certification. The V2.3 tests have yet to be formally approved by the LSB test team.
oMail-admin is a PHP-based Web frontend to qmail and vmailmgrd. It can be used by domain owners and single users to easily administer their mail accounts without bothering the sysadmin. Its features include mailbox/alias management, auto-responder (vacation-like) support, support for changing passwords, and translations for the French, English, Swedish, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Danish, Romana, Czech, Nederlands, and German languages.
initscripts-generic is a modified version of the initscripts package included in Red Hat's Linux distribution. It is modified to allow more versatile usage of ppp interfaces, such as with different tunneling systems. It isn't very useful by itself, but is a prerequisite for some other packages.

It supports Win32/OSS sound systems, ALSA, and EsounD.
Synaptic is a graphical frontend for APT. It features a flexible filter system that allows you to define several criteria for the package list, such as installed packages, not-installed available packages that start with task, etc. It supports both apt 0.5.x and the RPM-enabled apt.
XML Benchmark is a C/C++/Java XML parsers benchmarking toolset. Supported parsers include LibXML2, Xerces, Oracle XDK, Expat, RXP, QT, and Sun Crimson. Benchmarking fields include parsing (native, SAX, DOM), DOM manipulation, schema validation, XSL transformation, and XML signature and encryption.
