Samba LDAP Tools++ is a branch of the smbldap-tool scripts. It has Kerberos (Heimdal) support for passwords, LDAP hashes, and domain machines; support for DynDNS updates on Samba using BIND; and additional structures for system users that allow a single user to play different roles as RADIUS, LDAP, Kerberos, Samba, and Jabber users. It has many additions and functions that allow full support on new technologies.

All components needed to use it and to administer it are included in the tarball. However, all modules developed for LemonLDAP may not work with LemonLDAP::NG.
Viper is a system for completely automated installation and configuration of Debian GNU/Linux-based systems. It uses a modern approach with debian-installer and puppet, works with existing Debian packages, and does not require any custom patching of either install media, client, or server. The basis of the whole system is an LDAP server containing all configuration data.
lpkfuse is a FUSE filesystem that lets you place all the SSH public keys of your users into LDAP. Without this tool, you would have to patch your SSH server (for example using openssh-lpk) to support this. But with lpkfuse, you just need to amend AuthorizedKeysFile in your sshd_config file. Other benefits include LDAP resilence and caching/local-fallback in case no LDAP servers are accessible.
