album is a free HTML/XHTML photo album and gallery generator that supports themes/skins. You can choose different themes or write your own to get different layouts and styles. It creates all your thumbnails (including directory thumbnails) and descends into directories so you can organize your photos. cthumb allows you to create Web albums of digital pictures with thumbnails, captions, and several different views of the collection, including (optionally) several languages and resolutions. An album is composed of a series of pages, each composed of a collection of pictures. You can have several annotations per picture, and can customize almost everything in the way the albums look on the screen.

BBGallery is a small Perl script generating a number of HTML files from JPEG images that make up a image gallery to browse with any HTML browser. It uses The Gimp and Gimp-Perl to create thumbnails and to scale the images. Prima is an extensible Perl toolkit for multi-platform GUI development. Supported platforms include Linux, Windows NT/9x/2K, OS/2, and UNIX/X11 workstations (FreeBSD, IRIX, SunOS, Solaris, and others). The toolkit contains a rich set of standard widgets and has emphasis on 2D image processing tasks. A Perl program using Prima looks and behaves identically on X, Win32, and OS/2 PM.
WebPic is an application used to take a directory of digital cam pictures, and provide a frontend for Web viewing. It allows you to scale the images to different values, add comments, and display them in varying HTML styles. It uses ImageMagick for the image processing, and PerlMagick as the interface.
