FVWM-Crystal aims to create an easy to use, pretty, but also powerful desktop environment for Linux or other Unix-like operating systems. It uses the following programs: FVWM as a window manager and "main core"; different ways to provide icons on the desktop including support for many file managers and custom commands; xterm, aterm, mrxvt, or urxvt as terminal emulators; MPD or XMMS2 as music players (there's built-in support for controlling these programs), and several other tools for different functions, like setting a wallpaper or taking screenshots.

Adeos Filesystem Security Scanner is an automated filesystem security scanner. It recursively walks all mounted filesystems on the local system, and attempts to identify common security concerns, such as SUID, and world-writeable files. The output is available as text or HTML, with either output type formatted in either report or list style. Text is written to stdout and may be redirected to a file, while HTML is written to a file named results.html in the local directory.
QuizComposer is a system for quiz composition/presentation/response-evaluation on the Web in any language. It features many response types to questions (checkbox clicks, number intervals, character patterns/regular expressions, ordered and unordered sets, and subsets), re-presentation of incorrectly answered questions with/without hints, test quizzes for limited groups, and packaging of quizzes and sets of quizzes for transportation and exchange.
