Valentina is cross-platform SQL and non-SQL columnar database that allows development of client-server [Web] solutions and applications with an embedded local database using the same sources. Valentina DB provides an Object-Relational model, but you can also mix Relational and Extended Navigational. It introduces a revolutionary model abstraction "Link" that greatly simplifies db schema, and therefore simplifies SQL queries. It supports disk and in-memory databases, and field types including Bit, BLOB, Pictures, and Enum. It provides advanced features such as triggers, views, stored procedures, regular expressions, XML, full-text search, and calculated fields. It exists as Valentina Server, Valentina Studio, and a set of Valentina ADKs for all major programming languages.
Qt is a comprehensive, object-oriented development framework that enables development of high-performance, cross-platform rich-client and server-side applications. When you implement a program with Qt, you can run it on the X Window System (Unix/X11), Apple Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows NT/9x/2000/XP by simply compiling the source code for the platform you want. Qt is the basis for the KDE desktop environment, and is also used in numerous commercial applications such as Google Earth, Skype for Linux, and Adobe Photoshop Elements.
Cameleon a Framework for developing reliable database applications in a technology independent and predominantly editorial way. User interfaces may be easily exchanged from Swing to HTML and vice versa, and databases may be exchanged in the same manner. The Swing variant framework is established. The HTML user interface is under construction but can be reviewed on the project Webpage ("Test sample application"). Cameleon's target users are programmers who manage midrange data volumes (from thousands to millions of database records) and who prefer simplicity and availability rather than animation. Business features such as security management and parameter administration are supported in the framework. The framework allows web developement without any knowledge of JSP, HTML, Servlets etc. Data input elements (and groups of them) may be used in Java Server Pages.
ClearParse is a flexible engine that can be used for any parsing task including interpreting or compiling programming languages, analyzing or converting data files, processing command line parameters and user input, implementing markup languages and scripts, natural language processing (NLP), and more.
KaiView is a GUI toolkit/framework for writing applications using the TOM programming language. Based on a vector-oriented drawing layer using libart and freetype2, it provides a widget layer with subject/view separation, forms loaded from XML files, live updates to the GUI, Unicode support, abstract manipulator classes, antialiased everything, and a lot more.
SMLserver is a Web server plugin for AOLserver, an Open Source multi-threaded Web server provided by America Online and used for large-scale, dynamic Web sites. SMLserver allows efficient threaded execution of Standard ML programs and inherits many of the great features of AOLserver, including the possibility of accessing a variety of different relational database management systems (RDBMSs), such as Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
OpenXAdES enables people to work with legally-binding digital signatures (primarily giving and verifying them). Legislation often defines a set of requirements that legal digital signature technologies and infrastructures must be compliant with, and OpenXAdES aims at meeting many, if not all, such requirements from different legislations.
GNUnet is a peer-to-peer framework with focus on providing security. All peer-to-peer messages in the network are confidential and authenticated. The framework provides a transport abstraction layer and can currently encapsulate the network traffic in UDP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, or direct 802.11 (WLAN). GNUnet supports accounting to provide contributing nodes with better service. The services built on top of the framework include anonymous file sharing and a virtual network providing IPv4-IPv6 transition via protocol translation over the P2P network.
