Ch is an embeddable C/C++ interpreter for cross-platform scripting, shell programming, 2D/3D plotting, numerical computing, and embedded scripting. It is the simplest solution to numerical computing and visualization in the domain of C/C++. It supports the ISO 1990 C Standard (C90), major features in C99 (complex numbers, variable length arrays or VLAs, type generic functions, long long data type, etc), classes in C++, and extensions to the C language like nested functions, string types, etc. It can be embedded in other applications and hardware and used as a scripting language. C/C++ code is interpreted directly with no compilation to intermediate code. It supports Linux, Windows, MacOS X, Solaris, HP-UX, and FreeBSD.

ThSim provides simulation of temperatures in solid material. It uses SPICE to do the actual calculations. An electrical equivalent model is used in order to describe the thermal properties of the entered blocks of solid material. The simulation is limited to conduction; no flow or convection is included. The main usage of this software is to simulate short duration thermal effects of high power dissipation, for instance for semiconductor devices. It allows analyses for short time durations, where measurements are not possible. This tool provides a simple solution for thermal analyses in applications where the additional capabilities of high-end tools for simulation of thermal convection and flow are not necessary. The program uses wxWindows for the GUI and OpenGL for the 3D graphics output.

The Nebula Device is a free multiplatform game engine currently running under Linux and Windows. It uses OpenGL and/or Direct3D for rendering and Tcl/Tk for scripting. Living C++ objects can be browsed and manipulated at runtime from the builtin console, or remotedly from a minimal terminal based console app. A powerful channel animation system allows any floating point attribute to be animated, and specialized animator classes allow things like realtime bone animation with weighted vertex skin.

The Epeios MIDI to XML converter makes it possible to convert binary MIDI files to a format that allows them to be handled effectively with tools like CVS. If you put, using your favorite MIDI sequencer, the CVS '$Id$' tag (or other CVS tags) in the comment tag of the MIDI file, the changes made to this tag by CVS are propagated into the MIDI file.
