IptablesWeb allows a user to inspect iptables logs and to receive email and alerts using a Web browser. It is plugin-based, portable to any database, and supports multiple languages and multiple users. It features the ability to duplicate each plugin in any number of blocks, each with its own characteristics. The update (refresh) time can be set on each block to reduce the CPU load. Blocks can be dragged and dropped to change their display order.
Xplico is an IP traffic decoder that extracts data from an Internet traffic capture. From a pcap file, it can extracts each email (POP, IMAP, and SMTP protocols), all HTTP content, VoIP calls (SIP, RTP, H323, MEGACO, MGCP), IRC, MSN, and so on. It isn't a packet sniffer or a network protocol analyzer, but rather an IP/Internet traffic decoder or network forensic analysis tool (NFAT).
SurrealServices is a full replacement IRC Services package providing NickServ, ChanServ, BotServ, MemoServ, and OperServ, as well as LogServ and ConnectServ. Features are loosely based on ConferenceRoom/Auspice and Anope, as well as NeoStats. Some security features are also available such as a TOR (http://tor.eff.org/) detector/banner and a country detector (which checks IP allocation and optionally bans). It is multithreaded to eliminate lag due to the asynchronous nature of MySQL and DNS lookups.
Andrisoft WANGUARD is an enterprise-grade traffic monitoring and DDoS detection and protection solution that delivers the functionality NOC, IT, and security teams need to effectively monitor and protect their network through a single, integrated package. WANGUARD Sensor relies on sFlow, NetFlow, IPFIX, or Port Mirroring / SPAN.
eurephia is an authentication plug-in for OpenVPN. It enhances the OpenVPN authentication process by using user name and password authentication in addition to SSL certificates. If too many failed attempts are registered, the user account and/or IP address will be blocked. For Linux servers, iptables support is also included, which can be used to restrict each user's network access through the VPN channel. OpenVPN 2.2 or later is required.
Collax Business Server is an all-in-one Linux server for small- and medium-sized businesses. It delivers all the important network services within a heterogeneous business environment for communication, infrastructure, compliance, groupware, and storage, all in a reliable and secure way which is easy to manage. It also provides essential security functions such as firewalling and virus and spam filtering, to protect against hacker attacks, viruses, and unsolicited email messages.
NetMRG is a network monitoring, reporting, and graphing system. Using MySQL, PHP, C++, pthreads, and RRDTOOL, it is capable of monitoring thousands of arbitrary values at user-configured intervals (typically 5 minutes). Graph templating allows network and system admins to begin monitoring routers, switches, servers and other devices with minimal setup overhead. NetMRG is also capable of responding to programmable events, such as variables exceeding accepted tolerances. NetMRG can be deployed in server hosting and ISP environments, allowing users to view only their own equipment's bandwidth or traffic graphs.
Netdisco is a Web-based network management tool. Users can locate the switch port of an end-user system by IP or MAC address. Data is stored using a SQL database. Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) optionally provides automatic discovery of the network topology. The network is inventoried by both device model and operating system (like IOS). It uses router ARP tables and L2 switch MAC forwarding tables to locate nodes on physical ports and track them by their IP addresses. For each node, a time stamped history of the ports it has visited and the IP addresses it has used is maintained. It gets all its data, including CDP topology information, with SNMP polls and DNS queries. Security features include a wire-side Wireless Access Point (AP) locator.
