QuizComposer is a system for quiz composition/presentation/response-evaluation on the Web in any language. It features many response types to questions (checkbox clicks, number intervals, character patterns/regular expressions, ordered and unordered sets, and subsets), re-presentation of incorrectly answered questions with/without hints, test quizzes for limited groups, and packaging of quizzes and sets of quizzes for transportation and exchange.
Sesame-wifi is a hot-spot management tool using dynamic firewall rules (netfilter/iptables) with an Apache-SSL interface based on Python-CGI. There are 2 kind of users. Normal users are supposed to have a static IP and MAC address, and their connection time can be summed. "Ticket" users are time-limited: they are allowed a connection for a certain time, after which their connection is destroyed.
EZ Reusable Objects (EZRO) is a Web application that can be used by non-technical staff to manage content as "objects." Content objects containing text, video, and audio can be shared, modified, and re-styled to appear via a traditional Web site, an on-line course, an innovative "Coach," or as a community of interest site. It is highly scalable and can be used for public Web sites, secure environments, and private intra/extranets.
Pyml is a Python-based HTML preprocessor in the same vein as PHP or ASP, allowing you to mix HTML and Python code. It can be used with any Web server that supports CGI or with Apache via mod_python. There is support for cookies, PHP-like sessions, access to GET and POST variables, and inserting more pre-processors such as XSLT. Pyml files can be compiled into Python bytecode to speed execution.
Pyramid is a small, powerful, and flexible set of Web development components that supersedes both Pylons 1. 0 and repoze.bfg. It can be used to write clean and fast applications, and supports plugging in a variety of components like storage, templating engines, and authentication mechanisms.
