The Intel Software Development Emulator is a functional emulator for new and upcoming instruction set extensions. The emulator is based on the Pin dynamic binary instrumentation system (and XED). It emulates the new instructions in the SSE4, AES, PCLMULQDQ, and RTM, BMI1, and BMI2 Intel AVX and AVX2 instruction set extensions. This allows developers to gain familiarity with Intel's upcoming instruction set extensions.

Seed7 is a general purpose programming language. It is a higher level language compared to Ada, C++, and Java. In Seed7, new statements and operators can be declared easily. Functions with type results and type parameters are more elegant than a template or generics concept. Object orientation is used when it brings advantages and not in places when other solutions are more obvious. Although Seed7 contains several concepts of other programming languages, it is generally not considered as a direct descendant of any other programming language.
STXXL is an implementation of the C++ standard template library STL for external memory (out-of-core) computations. STXXL implements containers and algorithms that can process huge volumes of data that only fit on disks. Tulip is an information visualization framework dedicated to the analysis and visualization of relational data. Tulip aims to provide the developer with a complete library, supporting the design of interactive information visualization applications for relational data that can be tailored to the problems being faced. Written in C++, the framework enables the development of algorithms, visual encodings, interaction techniques, data models, and domain-specific visualizations. One of the goals of Tulip is to facilitate the reuse of components, and it allows developers to focus on programming their application. This development pipeline makes the framework efficient for research prototyping as well as the development of end-user applications. The framework also provides a complete software for visual analysis of relational data having attributes.
Armadillo is a C++ linear algebra library (matrix maths) aiming towards a good balance between speed and ease of use. Integer, floating point, and complex numbers are supported, as well as a subset of trigonometric and statistics functions. Various matrix decompositions are provided through optional integration with LAPACK and ATLAS libraries. A delayed evaluation approach, based on template meta-programming, is used (during compile time) to combine several operations into one and reduce or eliminate the need for temporaries.
