Free Electron is a C++ framework facilitating reuse and integration for R&D projects such as simulation, AI, and visual effects. The core systems include dynamic plugins, a strong component model, and a fast runtime database. All these systems are highly extensible. Integration has been demonstrated with Alembic, Armadillo, Boost, DevIL, GraphViz, Houdini, JSON, Lua, Maya, ODE, OpenAL, OpenGL, OpenMP, OSG, PCRE, RakNet, SDL (image and joy), TBB, TIFF, OpenVDB, X11/GDI, and XML. General operators built with this framework can be used in Houdini and Maya (etc.) without any direct dependencies on those environments (each has a custom meta-plugin which interfaces the APIs). Builds are done with Python scripts (simple at the module level, like Jam, but in Python), and supports distcc, ccache, and gch files.
Wt is a C++ library for developing Web applications with an API that is widget-centric and inspired by existing C++ graphical user interface APIs. To the developer, it offers abstraction of Web-specific implementation details, increasing the accessibility and portability. Under the hood, the library uses the latest techniques (HTML5, Ajax, WebSockets) to handle user events and update the Web page.
OIO is a Web-based metadata/data management front-end which is built using Zope and works with Postgresql. No programming is required to build and manage Web-forms or to perform data mining/analysis on the collected data. It is in production at the Harbor/UCLA Medical Center for clinical outcomes management and research data. Forms created with OIO and hosted on any OIO server can be downloaded as XML files. Once downloaded from the "Forms library" and imported into an OIO server, the necessary database tables are automatically recreated and the imported forms become immediately available to the users of that OIO server.

Valentina is cross-platform SQL and non-SQL columnar database that allows development of client-server [Web] solutions and applications with an embedded local database using the same sources. Valentina DB provides an Object-Relational model, but you can also mix Relational and Extended Navigational. The Ecere SDK is a cross-platform toolkit for building software applications. It currently runs on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X (through X11), FreeBSD, and the Android OS. It should run on other Unix platforms with minor testing/tweaking. With the Ecere SDK, you can develop applications once and deploy them on all supported platforms alongside a lightweight runtime environment. It introduces eC, an object oriented language derived from and fully compatible with C, compromising neither runtime performance nor ease of use. A built-in 3D engine supporting both Direct3D and OpenGL is fully integrated.
Libpwmd provides an API for applications needing to communicate with PWMD (Password Manager Daemon). It is thread safe. It can connect to a remote pwmd server over an SSH channel or via TLS using a client certificate as authentication. It can use a pinentry program to prompt for a passphrase when needed. It supports secure memory management. It includes a command line client with a shell-like interface that can also read a Pwmd protocol command from standard input.
