lm_sensors provides essential tools for monitoring the temperatures, voltages, and fans of Linux systems with hardware monitoring devices. It contains a library for sensors access (libsensors), a command-line tool for sensor reporting (sensors), and a daemon (sensord). It also contains scripts for sensor hardware identification and fan speed control.
Razercfg is a Razer device configuration tool. It is based on "razerd", a background daemon doing all of the low-level privileged hardware accesses. The user interface tools are "razercfg", a command-line tool, and "qrazercfg", a Qt-based graphical device configuration tool. Supported devices are the Razer DeathAdder (Classic, 3500DPI, and Black Edition) mouse, the Razer Krait mouse, the Razer Lachesis mouse, the Razer Copperhead mouse, the Razer Naga mouse, the Razer Boomslang CE mouse and the Razer Taipan mouse.
TTA-based Co-design Environment (TCE) is a toolset that provides a complete co-design flow from C programs down to synthesizable VHDL and parallel program binaries. Processor customization points include the register files, function units, supported operations, and the interconnection network.

No internal OS knowledge or kernel level programming is required. It supports kernel 2.0.31 and above, including embedded Linux, x86 and PowerPC processors, and any 32-bit development environment supporting C or Delphi. hwloc provides command line tools and a C API to obtain the hierarchical map of key computing elements, such as: NUMA memory nodes, shared caches, processor sockets, processor cores, and processor "threads". hwloc also gathers various attributes such as cache and memory information, and is portable across a variety of different operating systems and platforms. hwloc primarily aims at helping high-performance computing (HPC) applications, but is also applicable to any project seeking to exploit code and/or data locality on modern computing platforms.
