This could be useful for cleaning out your hard drive. Pkgusage works with RPMs and Debian packages, and is written to be easily portable to other package managers as well.

It is simpler and less powerful than these traditional methods, but it should suffice for most people. Its features include NoodleUnInstaller (for automating uninstalls), TkNIAK (a GUI program for making the install scripts), and InstallMaker (for making self-extracting installers).
