Custom is an E-Commerce system providing Ordering and Invoicing, Stock, Supplier, and Catalogue Management. Easily customisable, it is written in Python for use as CGI scripts (under Apache or any other Web server) with a simple example site and example database. Custom is intended as a modern replacement for Sage.
The GNOME Structured File Library is a utility library for reading and writing structured file formats. Support for MS OLE2 streams is complete, as is zip import. There is also support for document metadata and some initial work on decompressing VBA streams in OLE files for future conversion to other languages. This library replaces libole2 and is used in gnumeric, mrproject, abiword, libwv2, koffice. It is also part of the AAF format.
Open Transactions is a solid, easy-to-use, financial crypto and digital cash library, including an API, server, and test client. It features anonymous numbered accounts, untraceable digital cash, triple-signed receipts, basket currencies, and signed XML contracts. It also supports cheques, invoices, payment plans, markets with trades, and other instruments. It uses OpenSSL and Lucre blinded tokens.
Retail Auto Auction provides a complete network-based Point-of-Sale software solution for an auto auction company. The program currently interfaces with a MySQL database and it can be installed on any number of machines that act as clients and connect to the database. In addition to tracking buyers/consignors, vehicles, and sales, the program includes powerful and extensible reporting capabilities. For instance, reports on buyer participation, vehicle history, car lists, etc. are available and can be exported use with a spreadsheet. Contract printouts are generated for a dot matrix printer suitable for triplicate form printing. Retail Auto Auction is written in Python and Qt.
Stoq is a software project aimed at creating a complete suite of applications for retail business management. It currently includes: a store front application to register sales; a manager with product, customers, system users, and suppliers catalogs, and reports of sales and stock; and an interface for client applications to print sales coupons. In the future, it will include all the tools needed for a complete retail business management suite, such as accounting and financial programs.
