0release is a program to generate source and binary releases automatically. With minimal configuration, 0release will generate a source tarball release candidate, build it to create a binary archive, upload them to your Web server, check the uploads, and tag the release in GIT and update the version number. It can run unit-tests and custom actions, such as building documentation, etc. For Zero Install users, it can also upload a signed XML metadata file about the release, allowing these users to upgrade automatically. Releases are signed with your GPG key.

AA-lib is a low level gfx library just as many other libraries are. The main difference is that AA-lib does not require graphics device. In fact, there is no graphical output possible. AA-lib replaces those old-fashioned output methods with a powerful ASCII art renderer. The API is designed to be similar to other graphics libraries.

ADODB is a set of advanced PHP database abstraction classes. The Advanced Linux Sound Architecture is composed of several parts. The first is a fully modularized sound driver which supports module autoloading, devfs, isapnp autoconfiguration, and gives complete access to analog audio, digital audio, control, mixer, synthesizer, DSP, MIDI, and timer components of audio hardware. It also includes a fully-featured kernel-level sequencer, a full compatibility layer for OSS/Free applications, an object-oriented C library which covers and enhances the ALSA kernel driver functionality for applications (client/server, plugins, PCM sharing/multiplexing, PCM metering, etc.), an interactive configuration program for the driver, and some simple utilities for basic management.

AS2Secure is a PHP library that allows you to send and receive AS2 (Applicability Statement 2) messages from partners. The project is split into two parts: a client to send one or more documents to a partner and a server to receive one or more documents from a partner. Its main features are asyncronous and syncronous MDN, partner setup, digital signatures, message encryption, secure transport (using OpenSSL), support for SSL client authentication, and multiple attachments (AS2 1.2).

ASCIIMathML is a script that converts calculator-style ASCII math notation (and many LaTeX formulas) to Presentation MathML while your Web page loads. It works with HTML and XHTML files in Mozilla/Firefox/Netscape 7+ browsers, as well as in Internet Explorer 6 with MathPlayer. For example, the solutions for the equation 'ax^2+bx+c=0' are expressed in the HTML file as '(-b +- sqrt(b^2 - 4ac))/(2a)', and display as nicely formatted MathML. The script can be easily used in wikiservers and blogs, as a rudimentary MathML editor (with instant preview), and to preview math formulas as they are typed into a Web page input area.
