Andromeda turns collections of MP3s into fully-featured streaming Web sites. Many other file formats are supported, including: WMA, OGG, MPG, AVI, and WMV. It can be used as a personal jukebox on a local network or over the Internet (bandwidth permitting). It works well with PHP-Nuke, PostNuke, and phpWebSite. Additional features include skins, custom playlists, logons/accounts, and a search tool. Andromeda is also multilingual, speaking English, German, Russian, Dutch, Spanish, and many other languages. No database is required. ASP and PHP versions are available.
AudioGalaxy Browser is a program to complement the official satellite program for Linux from AudioGalaxy. By using AGBrowser, every dependency on another program to search for, download, share, and manage mp3s has been satisfied. It is a KDE program that handles running the Audiogalaxy client (restarting it if it dies or crashes), provides a place to edit user information and a place to edit share information, and has an integrated AudioGalaxy Web browser and a special MP3 share manager profile for Konqueror.
C-Cramp (the C-Cramp College Radio Audio Management Program) is a Web-based frontend to MySQL for managing the types of things that small radio stations might need: audio files, data, and "metadata"; DJ and staff information, schedules, live music and program logs, and all sorts of other data. Currently, a cross-platform PHP application is the focus of the project, but more features and types of programs are planned that will hopefully enable easier playback, storage, loading, and entering for all types of applicable data.
Com' On Feel The Noize is a tool generating an M3U list from any Ogg/MP3 available on a specific network. Each computer on the network runs, via cron, a backend script that feeds a common database. Frontend scripts can be used by used to select some songs in the database and to automatically get a M3U list loaded into a player.
Crossfire is a Firefly Media Server client written for the Apple iPhone and the iPod touch. It has support for streaming, browsing, and searching music content. It supports both Mobile Safari and FireFox, but can be configured for various other devices such as Windows Mobile, Symbian, etc.
EZ Reusable Objects (EZRO) is a Web application that can be used by non-technical staff to manage content as "objects." Content objects containing text, video, and audio can be shared, modified, and re-styled to appear via a traditional Web site, an on-line course, an innovative "Coach," or as a community of interest site. It is highly scalable and can be used for public Web sites, secure environments, and private intra/extranets.

GenReS is a generic reconfigurable scriptable plugin for Mozilla-based browsers. It allows you to use external programs for EMBED or OBJECT tags. The plugin is supplied with Perl and Python scripts for embedding OpenOffice documents, images, video, and audio using ooffice, imagemagick display, mplayer, and mencoder and a controlling viewer with JavaScript. It is possible to scale, flip, and rotate images and video. Audio and video files can also be paused, started, viewed step-by-step, sought, and recorded to a set of files.
