sailplay parses NMEA0183 data from a GPS data logger, and replays the sailboarder, kite surfer, cyclist, motorcyclist, etc. being logged on a 3D moving map. The end result is a Y4M video file that is ready to be converted to a movie file (MPEG, AVI etc). Optionally, the user can take screenshots. This program can display/record multiple participants (i.e. display/record more than one GPS file).
PyParticles is a particle simulation toolbox entirely written in Python. It simulates a particle-by-particle model with the most popular integrations methods, including Euler, Runge Kutta, and Midpoint. It represents the results on an OpenGL or Matplotlib plot, and offers an easy-to-use API.
GPUMarkerTracker is a tracking software library for AR (augmented reality) markers. It utilizes GPGPU for fast and accurate tracking. It is intended for detecting markers from an HD resolution image so that small markers placed far from the camera can be detected. Each marker has a 12-bit payload with 9-bit CRC. The library does not produce false-positive detection errors of markers, practically.
SysopView shows information in a visually attractive way, like computers in movies do. The idea is that it can show information relevant to system administrators non-comprehensible for non-technical personnel, while still looking attractive even if you don't know what is shown. The current version can show nagios status data, webcam streams (mjpeg, jpeg, and video4Linux), and VNC, has a built-in terminal emulator in which regular text applications can be run, can sniff the network (including remotely) and dissect streams and show pictures which are sniffed, can show external bitmaps (from, for example, mrtg and rrdtool), and can scroll text (currently showing output of rssfeeds).
Arx Libertatis is a cross-platform, open source port of Arx Fatalis, a 2002 first-person role-playing game developed by Arkane Studios. Arx Fatalis features crafting, melee and ranged combat, and a unique casting system where the player draws runes in real time to effect the desired spell. The Arx Libertatis source code is based on the publicly released Arx Fatalis sources. This does however not include the game data, so you need to obtain a copy of the original Arx Fatalis or its demo.
