IM-Filter is a daemon that runs on a firewall and filters ICQ traffic. The daemon can identify file transfers, handle UIN and word blacklists, manage a list with currently logged in users, and log messages sent via the ICQ protocol. The modular design allows implementation of other protocols like MSN or IRC.
The ipoque PRX traffic manager effectively detects and controls all major peer-to-peer (P2P) filesharing, instant messaging (IM), and Voice over IP (VoIP) protocols. Bandwidth and volume limits can be assigned to network links, subnets, individual users, and user groups. Detailed usage statistics are provided and can be exported for post-processing. This community edition is a fully functional version with a bandwidth limit of 2 Mbit/s.
StatsServ is a little program which emulates an ever smaller IRC server (in regard to the commands it handles) and transfers statistics from IRC into a database. You can then use the data, for example, on a Web site where you want to display the latest statistics. Statistics consist of the uptime of each server in the network, a list of channels, including their topic (except for secret (+s) and private (+p) channels), and the number of users in the network. You can normally get these statistics via /stats u, /list, and /lusers (if /stats u is supported on the network and enabled for normal users).
ad-tolk enables Wi-Fi enabled machines that are within range of each other to automatically setup their wireless interfaces by calculating IP addresses based on their MAC addresses (in the range 10.0.0.0/8) and joining an ad-hoc cell called "livefolio". Afterwards, all nodes can discover their neighbors and start exchanging text messages without any manual network configuration.
Galet is a peer-to-peer application which primarily aims to provide easy-to-setup, secure communication channels between the computers of people who know and trust each other. Its secondary goal is to create a public network based on these channels. No direct connections occur between two nodes that have not been explicitly accepted by the users of these nodes. This makes the network very difficult to censor, as an attacker's direct access to the network is limited.
SurrealServices is a full replacement IRC Services package providing NickServ, ChanServ, BotServ, MemoServ, and OperServ, as well as LogServ and ConnectServ. Features are loosely based on ConferenceRoom/Auspice and Anope, as well as NeoStats. Some security features are also available such as a TOR (http://tor.eff.org/) detector/banner and a country detector (which checks IP allocation and optionally bans). It is multithreaded to eliminate lag due to the asynchronous nature of MySQL and DNS lookups.
A PHP script for making OpenOffice and MS Office documents using templates.
