The WisdomForce FastReader is a high-performance data transfer and migration product which enables transportation of data across multiple platforms in heterogeneous environments and significantly improves data accessibility. FastReader can unload and extract Oracle tables of any size into portable flat text files (or into a pipe) without compromising the performance of production database systems. The user can easily configure the output data format.
The Easysoft ODBC-Sybase Driver provides ODBC 3.5 access to Sybase databases for ODBC enabled applications running on Linux and major Unix platforms. It can be used to access Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise 12.5 and the forthcoming Sybase ASE 12.5.1. The driver is compatible with unixODBC, the Open Source Driver Manager, which is included in the standard product distribution.
SibylSQL is a portable, full-fledged, next-generation, client-server, multi-threaded, object-relational database system. The primary technical contribution to the database community is the inclusion of the SQL Dialect Interface (SDI), originally written for the NightStar NEXTGRES database. The SDI allows a DBA to grant users or applications the ability to translate vendor-specific SQL such as Oracle, SAP DB, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL, into a native SibylSQL parse tree via dynamically loadable objects at run-time.
The Directory Server NT Authentication Module project is made of two parts: The first is a simple daemon which takes an NT user's domain credentials (including password) and attempts to authenticate via the SMB protocol with those credentials. The second part is a plugin which takes an LDAP DN and password and discovers the DN's NT domain identifier (if the entry has such an ID). The daemon will only listen on localhost, so the credentials are not exposed via the network, and it does not run as root, so that compromise can be limited. It attempts to locate all the domain controllers for an arbitrary domain, so failure of one DC does not cause the module to fail the authentication attempt unless no DC can be found that will accept the credential.
