Kpl is a KDE program for two- and three-dimensional graphical presentation of data sets and functions (plotter). Multidimensional nonlinear parameter fits of functions to data sets can be performed using the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm. General linear least square parameter fits are also possible. A D-BUS interface can be used to control Kpl by other applications and scripts.
Xidel is a command line tool to download Web pages and extract data from them. It can download files over HTTP/S connections, follow redirections, links, or extracted values, and process local files. The data can be extracted using XPath 2.0, XQuery 1.0, and JSONiq expressions, CSS 3 selectors, and custom, pattern-matching templates that are like an annotated version of the processed page. The extracted values can then be exported as plain text/XML/HTML/JSON, or assigned to variables to be used in other extract expressions or be exported to the shell. There is also an online CGI service for testing.
Countly is a real-time, mobile analytics application. It collects event data from mobile phones and visualizes this information to analyze mobile application usage. Countly dashboard gives a complete overview of your application's performance. You can view detailed metrics, including session length, hardware type, operator (carrier), connection type or speed, activity length, and more.
Urban Lightscape is a photo filter for exposure correction, localized brightness adjustments, dodging and burning, and the introduction of synthetic lighting to a photo. A simple "double-click-and-drag" paradigm is used to place control points on a photo, and clever edge detection localises and interpolates lightness adjustments around and between these points. Results are rapid, with additional controls for more subtle refinements.
Liberté Linux is a secure, reliable, lightweight, and easy to use Gentoo-based live USB Linux distribution intended as a communication aid in hostile environments. It installs as a regular directory on a USB/SD key, and after a single-click setup, boots on any desktop computer or laptop. The Internet connection is then used to set up a Tor circuit, which handles all network communication. During first boot, a unique email ID is generated from fingerprints of user's certificate and Tor hidden service key. This persistent ID allows one to stealthily communicate with other Liberté users. The distribution includes image and document processing applications, and can function as a secure Web browsing platform. For developers, Liberté can also serve as a robust framework for mastering Gentoo-based live USBs/CDs. The build process is fully automated with incremental build support, and is more mature and reliable than most of Gentoo's own outdated live CD tools.
AstroAviBrowser is a small tool for astronomy imaging capture/processing. It allows you to open a video file, select the good frames, and save the new sequence in a new avi file using raw or lossless codecs. You may also de-bayer your frames and separate RGB plans. It's a kind of "AviRaw" for Linux.
A tool for creating disk-at-once and track-at-once CDs, DVDs, and BluRays.
